NeaMea LLC
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how NeaMea LLC (“NeaMea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you use NeaMea Helpful Librarian, including the website or web application where users search for, review, and access information about third-party products, services, resources, or providers collectively referred to as the “Services.”
NeaMea Helpful Librarian is designed as a calm discovery and organization support tool. It helps users search, compare, and find useful third-party options. When a user chooses an outside option, the user leaves NeaMea and continues the purchase, sign-up, support request, or other journey directly with the third-party provider.
NeaMea Helpful Librarian does not sell products directly, complete purchases, provide customer support for third-party providers, or guarantee any third-party result. Our role is limited to helping users discover and organize information before they decide whether to continue with a provider outside NeaMea.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and that your information may be collected, used, and disclosed as described below.
Information We Collect
NeaMea Helpful Librarian collects only the information needed to operate a search and discovery website or web application. This may include information you choose to provide when contacting us, search or browsing information used on the site, and basic technical information collected automatically when the site loads or operates.
Search and Discovery Information: Information you choose to enter or use while searching, browsing, filtering, or reviewing third-party products, services, resources, or providers through NeaMea Helpful Librarian.
- Provider-Related Interactions: If you click a provider link or visit a third-party site from NeaMea Helpful Librarian, the third-party provider may collect information directly from you under its own privacy policy. NeaMea does not control information you choose to provide after leaving our Services.
- Correspondence: If you contact us by email, using a contact form, or by telephone, mail, fax, or other means, we may collect the information contained within, and associated with, your correspondence.
Information We Gather Automatically
When you use our Services, we may collect some information automatically, including:
- your Internet Protocol (IP) address;
- the dates and times of your use of our Services;
- your web browser type and version;
- the type of device from which you are accessing our Services;
- the website that referred you to our website (by clicking on a link);
- the actions you take in the course of your use of our Services;
- the content, features, and activities that you access and participate in on our Services;
- your interaction with email messages we send you, such as whether you opened, clicked on, or forwarded a message.
We may collect this information passively using standard technologies such as server logs, browser cookies, and similar tools that help the Services function, stay secure, and improve over time.
We may use third-party tools and service providers, such as analytics, hosting, security, communication, or performance tools, to help operate and improve the Services. These providers may collect limited technical or usage information in accordance with their own policies and our agreements with them. We do not control every action of third-party providers, but we work to use providers that support responsible data practices.
NeaMea Helpful Librarian may organize or display search and discovery information to help users find relevant third-party options. NeaMea does not complete the provider transaction for the user and does not sell the user’s Personal Information.
How We Use Your Information
We use information only for practical purposes connected to operating NeaMea Helpful Librarian, including:
- to operate the site and provide search, review, and discovery support;
- to maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services;
- to help users access third-party provider information and links when they choose to leave NeaMea Helpful Librarian;
- to respond to messages or requests sent directly to NeaMea.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your Personal Information. We share information only in limited situations connected to operating the Services, responding to your choices, or meeting legal and security needs.
- User-Directed Provider Visits: The Services may allow you to click links or otherwise access third-party providers. When you choose to leave NeaMea Helpful Librarian and visit a third-party site, your activity on that third-party site is controlled by that provider’s own terms, privacy policy, pricing, availability, support, and customer service practices.
- Service Providers: We contract with other companies and individuals to perform certain services on our behalf. To the extent these third parties have a legitimate need to access your Personal Information in order to complete their work, we will ensure they are contractually obligated to use this information only for the contracted work and for no other purpose.
- No Sale of Personal Information: NeaMea does not sell your Personal Information. NeaMea Helpful Librarian may receive compensation when users click, visit, sign up with, or purchase from certain third-party providers after leaving NeaMea, but that compensation does not mean NeaMea sells your Personal Information.
- Investigations: We may disclose your Personal Information if we believe that doing so is legally required, or is in our interest to protect our property or other legal rights (including, but not limited to, enforcement of our agreements), or the rights or property of others, or otherwise to help protect the safety or security of our Services and other users of our Services.
How We Protect Your Information
We use various security measures to help protect your information from accidental loss, disclosure, and misuse. These measures include review of our system logs, off-site backups, data encryption, and security software. However, no data security measures can be guaranteed to be completely effective. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information we collect. You transmit information and use our Services at your own risk.
